With more than 46 years of business consulting experience and over 1,250 organizations served, Henry brings a deep background in workflow design, process improvement, and operational efficiency. His work has spanned small firms, large enterprises, and everything in between — always with a focus on reducing friction and improving productivity.

When COVID reshaped how service businesses interact with clients, Henry shifted his expertise toward digital intake and remote workflow automation. That transition led to the development of logic‑driven organizers built specifically for CPAs and Enrolled Agents — tools that guide clients, validate completeness, and return structured data to the firm.

Today, Hananiah LLC combines Henry’s consulting background with modern no‑code technology to help tax professionals streamline client intake, reduce back‑and‑forth, and improve accuracy on the first pass.

  • For the past 5 years he has served as a resource consultant to a small/medium-sized accounting, tax, business services firms completing client-facing projects to enhance engagement and communications processes primarily using technology. Applications of customized spreadsheets, reports, budgeting tools, tax organizers, scheduling, and client employee handbooks.

  • He served on the Boards of Directors of the National Association of Management and Technical Assistance Centers, (NAMTAC) and the American Industrial Extension Alliance (AIEA). Mr. Burdg also served as Senior Examiner for the Alabama Quality Award and past Chair of the Auburn Training Connection. Prior to joining Auburn University, Mr. Burdg was formerly with the engineering firm of Howard Needles Tammen & Bergendoff's, Cleveland, Ohio aviation office.

  • Mr. Burdg is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Professional Business Advisor (PBA), Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) and has conducted some 1,250+ industry client projects. He has 13 publications in refereed journals and some 10 proceedings publications.

  • Henry B. Burdg, serves as Director Emeritus of the Auburn Technical Assistance Center (ATAC) at Auburn University (Harbert College of Business) and the Auburn – Alabama Technology Network upon retirement in 2016. Since retirement from Auburn he, in a part-time role, serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Auburn University RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Lab as well as working as an independent management consultant through his company, Hananiah L.L.C.

  • He holds a Bachelor of Aviation Management and the Master of Business Administration degrees from Auburn University. For the past 46+ years he has been working with businesses, primarily Alabama firms, to assist them in becoming more competitive and efficient. His work involves the application of technology (hard and soft) on a statewide basis and throughout the southeast.
